The company's new "beast" will be based on a new technology, which is called Knight's Landing. This technology is essentially the latest in parallel computing and has been developed to handle heavy processes that require endless processing power. Although the information we have about it is scarce at the moment, this particular Xeon processor will consist of 8 billion transistors, producing 3 teraflops of raw computing power, which is doubled due to the new architecture. The new Xeons that are currently in Intel's laboratories will be able to support up to 400GB of RAM (DDR4 technology). In order not to overwhelm you with dozens of technical details, this quantitatively translates into bandwidth that will reach 90GB/s!
