Sony has just confirmed that today, March 27, system software update 3.12 for the PS Vita, aiming to improve stability when using special features.
The PlayStation Vita received a major firmware upgrade earlier this week, allowing owners of the portable console to gain access to all sorts of new features, such as a new calendar app that can be synced online and used to organize gaming events with other PS Vita users.
Beyond that, improvements were added to the messaging system, admin content, and other similar options on the device.
Unfortunately, some significant issues have emerged after the system software update, including issues for those using 32GB memory cards in their consoles, such as the console no longer recognizing the cards or the content stored on them.
Now, it seems that Sony is trying to solve some of these problems and has confirmed that it will be releasing a PS Vita system software update version 3.12, which, according to the official PlayStation Twitter account, “improves system stability when using some features.”
It's unclear whether the issue with 32GB memory cards has been fixed by the new firmware, so let's hope more details are announced soon.
