Chris Dancy The most "networked" person

For some, the excessive use of electronic devices is a headache, and for others, a "tool" for even greater networking. The second category includes American Chris Dancy, from Denver, who is considered the most "networked" person on the planet, as with the help of the sensors and smart devices he constantly wears on his body, he is able to collect data about both himself and the environment in which he is at all times.

Among the devices that accompany him everywhere are the Pebble smartwatch, Google glasses, the BodyMedia electronic bracelet and a Blue heart rate monitor. By combining the above equipment with sensors, Chris Dancy is able to collect information about his eating habits, his movement, etc. As he claims, with the help of the “wearable” system, he managed to lose 45 kg.

Chris Dancy 's home is also connected to a range of cutting-edge systems, including smart lighting and a sleep monitoring system built into his mattress.

After the Internet, comes the Innernet

The «stuck» with technology Chris Dancy, collects data around himself for the past five years. Every week, as he reveals, he adds two to three new systems, thus having the ability to test new technologies and accordingly shape the measurements he makes each time.

The networked man claims that through this specific process, he is able to know himself as well as possible.

«When I touch an object, I try to make sure it is something from which I can extract further information, which I then share with people who may wish to acquire it» says the 45-year-old man. «Now I know, for example, what to drink, what to eat, when to sleep and when to wake up. What I do could be described as body and mind hacking. From an electronic computer a hacker can extract any kind of data. The human body and mind could constitute the most perfect information system humanity has ever known».
