The worst passwords of 2013

After two years, the word “password” has lost its top spot on SplashData’s list of the 25 worst security passwords, a list that is based on the thousands of accounts that are compromised each year. The “winner” for 2013 is “123456″, but beyond the obvious, we also had 8 new entries in the Top 25 of proverbial naivety…

All kidding aside, the CEO of SplashData reminds us that we should choose fairly complex passwords and, with reference to "adobe123", "photoshop", warns us not to use the corresponding program/service, etc. as a basis.
