Google has released a map showing the most photographed places on Earth. The data included in Sightsmap comes from geolocated images uploaded by individual users to the Google Maps Panoramio service, which links the images to locations on Google Maps and Google Earth.
The interactive map allows you to plan trips by selecting a starting point and destination. You will automatically get the estimated travel time and links to websites that will provide you with more information.
Smart markers show you the top 10 cities automatically. More cities will start to appear as you zoom in on the map. When you zoom in, the photos that will be displayed will give you a more indicative experience.
