Filter and monitor all Internet activities via NxFilter 1.7.2

NxFilter, a free DNS filtering that can be used to filter and monitor Internet activity on a network, now has version 1.7.2.

The tool is also able to detect and block malware and botnets based on DNS packet inspection.

The application uses local DNS cache for better Internet speed, load balancing, Active Directory integration, phishing protection, are just some of its features.

Highlights of NxFilter 1.7.2:

• Several names on the menu have changed
• Fast detection flow is correctly disabled
• Domain lookup speed has been improved with a new caching algorithm
• A firewall rule has been added for TCP port 80, for the Windows installer
