Yamaha is taking a big step into the subscription services space with its new Creator Pass , which combines a variety of services and apps focused on music production and podcasting under one umbrella. Yamaha doesn't make much software of its own, so it's partnered with a number of companies to bolster the package. Key partners include Landr ,Output, and Riverside , which provide virtual instruments, sample libraries, and podcast recording tools.

The Podcaster and Podcaster Complete packages include Riverside Pro , which covers recording, editing, and hosting. The complete package is only available as an annual plan and doesn't add any extra services, but it does come with a Yamaha AG01 USB condenser microphone to get you started.
Beginner and Producer subscriptions include Landr Studio Essentials or Standard , which comes with over 1,000 sample credits, AI-powered mastering services, music distribution, and various plugins. Landr produces some of the instruments and effects, but most come from other companies, including well-known names like Arturia, Eventide, Baby Audio, Puremagnetik , and Cableguys .
The Producer Pass also includes Output Arcade, a playable sampler, while Producer Plus adds additional Output plugins and services to the package, including Co-Producer, which uses AI to identify samples that might fit your track. The only thing missing from the package is a DAW.

Yamaha also plans to offer additional services, such as Audioshake stem separation and its own Vocaloid, which brings to life the iconic pop star Hatsune Miku.
