The new LG Sound Suite includes four new speakers and supports up to 13.1.7 channel configurations. Dolby Atmos FlexConnect technology debuted this year with the TCL Z100 speakers, and now we have the first FlexConnect soundbar thanks to LG. The new H7 soundbar — which is powered by the same Alpha 11 Gen 3 chip as LG’s OLEDs and new Micro RGB LEDs — is part of the LG Sound Suite, a modular home audio system that the company will showcase at CES 2026.

In addition to the soundbar, the Sound Suite will include the M5 and M7 surround speakers and the W7 subwoofer. All speakers feature Peerless Audio components.
The two main drawbacks of TCL's Dolby FlexConnect implementation were the limitation to connecting only four speakers, including a subwoofer, and the need for a 2025 TCL QM-series TV. So you had to choose between better sound coverage with a fourth speaker or better bass performance with a subwoofer. LG Sound Suite, on the other hand, will let you connect the soundbar to up to four surround speakers and a subwoofer for a possible 13.1.7-channel system.

While the speakers can be used with a compatible LG TV (including LG’s 2026 premium TV lineup and the 2025 OLED C5 and G5), it’s not necessary. You can use the H7 soundbar with any TV — or without — and it can act as the main device for connecting surround speakers and a subwoofer. LG says there are 27 different speaker configurations, from using two speakers as a stereo pair to a full system with a soundbar, surrounds, and subwoofer.

LG uses ultra-wideband technology to adjust the sweet spot based on listening position, which it calls Sound Follow. What will be interesting to see with LG Sound Suite's Dolby FlexConnect implementation is how customizable it is after setup (for example, adjusting subwoofer levels).
