Tesla helped a cancer patient who had ordered a Cybertruck get his electric pickup truck earlier – contrary to company policy.

According to Elon Musk, Tesla has a strict policy of not giving people preferential treatment when it comes to delivering new models early or at a discount.

This has been called into question recently, as many celebrities have been spotted in the early Cybertrucks. But now we have a confirmed example from Tesla, which accelerated delivery for a customer. I don't think anyone will criticize this, and for good reason.
Michael, a Cybertruck owner, shared his difficult situation with the Cybertruck Owners Club. He is known as a “Tesla fan” and is battling stage 4 cancer, fearing he will pass away before receiving his Cybertruck.
He posted about his situation on a forum, hoping that someone could help him speed up his delivery.
I am rn 112956xxxx. (Vista) CA. I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last year. I am in a clinical trial that is helping me. I would like to ask you, if possible, to accommodate me with an FS order. I hope to be able to have a CT scan if there is not enough time for delivery. I am happy with Tesla and specifically with the Model 3, solar panels and 2 Powerwalls.
Michael received many different messages from forum members offering help or encouragement. Eventually, the news reached Tesla, who confirmed it with a statement.
“To all Cybertruckers. I want to share with you my great experience with Tesla. Without much detail, I am expecting the delivery of my purchased car soon.“

“Our new arrival is here, accompanied by a Rose Gold, a Black, and another stainless Cybertruck. They made a grand entrance, filling the street, and were present to respond to any needs or questions for as long as we wished.”
