Stellar Blade's extremely NSFW appearance skin makes the action-RPG much more difficult if you're "down bad" enough to equip it.
Last week, Sony quickly removed a demo of Stellar Blade from the PSN store after it went on sale early. Some people still managed to try it out, leading to the discovery of brand new skins for protagonist Eve. One of them, called the “Skin Suit,” has quickly gained a devoted fan base on Twitter, to put it mildly.

As Automaton Media, the Skin Suit has an interesting description. When equipped, the skin completely disables Eve's in-game shield ability, meaning you'll have less in-game protection for Eve when using the Skin Suit, making you more vulnerable.
“Skins are garments crafted by the Mother Sphere,” the description of Eve’s Skin Suit further states. “They cover the body of the Airborne Team and grow on their own, or expand and contract depending on the situation. Otherwise, they are like living skin.”

The lack of a shield for the Skin Suit makes perfect sense – if you get rid of all your clothes, you'll be left more vulnerable. It's slightly reminiscent of the self-destruct feature from Nier: Automata, where protagonist 2B could remove her skirt, but her health would drop to one point.
