Today at State of Play, a new action fantasy game titled Ballad Of Antara was revealed.
The trailer shows all the ways to fight against supernatural enemies.

However, the hero does all this while carrying a small child on his back.
Ballad Of Antara is being promoted as a single-player, RPG to-play action with multiple characters called Emissaries. Each of these characters has their own class and abilities, as well as a unique story. Players will travel between two worlds in search of these Emissaries to enhance their power, but the young girl you carry is clearly the key to salvation. A PlayStation Blog about the game describes your duty to her as follows: “You will help her undo the destruction wrought on this desolate world through trials, twists and turns, and watch her grow as you journey.”

In addition to the single-player story, the game allows up to three players to explore together in multiplayer, whether they're close friends or random strangers wandering the world alongside you. Developer Tipworks also mentions plans for ongoing updates to Ballad of Antara after launch, with new zones, story content, and Emissaries.
Ballad of Antara will be released for PS5 in 2025.
