Google Assistant Driving Mode, but it hasn't completely removed the app yet.

According to revelations found in the Google app, Google Assistant Driving Mode is set to be discontinued in February of this year. The company is highlighting this fact with a message on the Driving Mode home screen.

As one expert noted, the Google Assistant Driving Mode home screen now features a new banner at the bottom that says, “This feature will be removed in February.” For now, you can dismiss it by tapping the x button. No further information is provided in the banner, with no link to a more detailed explanation.
It's not yet clear when exactly the Driving Assistant feature will be removed. But if that's the company's plan, it would probably have started showing it much earlier. With that in mind, we suspect that the Driving Assistant feature will be removed within the month. Since the banner only appears on the feature's home screen, it's likely that other parts, such as the music controls, will remain untouched.
To access the Google Assistant Driving Mode home screen, you need to start navigating in Google Maps while driving and then tap the button with the four squares in the bottom right corner, as stated by Google on a help page.
