YouTube.com has a clever mini-player that is now used to allow you to “continue watching” videos you left off on your phone.

If you're in the middle of watching a video and leave YouTube for Android or iOS and go to YouTube.com (on the web), that video will appear in the bottom right corner. The mini-player will queue up for about a second before pausing. Instead of the channel name, you'll see "Continue watching" below the video title.
Pressing the play button will automatically start in a collapsed view, while a click anywhere will open the full video page.
This simple feature also works if you pause what you're watching on YouTube for Android TV and possibly other TV devices. It doesn't seem to work the other way around, though.
This feature was spotted last week, but most users are now seeing it on their devices. Of course, you need to be signed in to the same Google Account for your watch history to sync.

It's faster than going to the “Library” page and checking the “History” section or having to manually add to “Watch later.” This feature is somewhat reminiscent of the ability to see “Tabs from other devices” in Chrome.
