With the US presidential election approaching, the biggest concern for tech companies is preventing misinformation. In this context, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerbergannounced that it will carry out "the largest voting information campaign in American history."

According to Zuckerberg, Facebook is introducing a Voting Information Center, which will appear at the top of News Feeds, as well as on Instagram, and will include information about how and when someone can vote, voter registration, voting by mail, and early voting.
“We will also include posts from state elections officials and verified local election authorities,” Zuckerberg said.
Facebook hopes the new Voting Information Center will reach more than 160 million people in the U.S. between July and November and aims to help 4 million people register to vote. It will also continue to share election reminders and information about mail-in voting.
However, the ability to disable this feature, so that those who do not wish to receive these notifications will not be able to do so.

However, Facebook is still not removing President Donald Trump 's posts , which have sparked public outcry. The company's CEO justifies the decision by saying that all opinions should be heard, even when we don't like them.
Earlier this month, Zuckerberg said he was disgusted by Trump's Facebook post supporting the shooting of protesters, but he still refuses to take any action against him. By giving these comments a platform, Facebook is treating them as acceptable, which is causing more harm than good. Zuckerberg won't admit it, but many users, including Facebook employees, are strongly protesting his stance.
