Users will soon be able to run Linux on their iPhones just like they would on an Android device via dual boot. Until now, dual booting with 64-bit on iOS devices was not possible , as only iPhone models older than the iPhone 5 and iPad models released before Apple 's 4th generation iPad could dual boot. However, now, popular jailbreakers and developers Raffaele and mcg29 have published detailed instructions on their Github page on how to dual boot with 64-bit on iOS devices.
The instructions include detailed steps for partitioning and restoring the root file system, creating a custom ramdisk, modifying the file system partition, and booting into devices. Although these instructions contain steps that focus primarily on the iOS, one could follow the same instructions to dual boot Linux and Android kernels.

With the right Linux kernels already available to boot, we could soon see dual-boot Linux support on iPhones. However, Linux kernels support flash-less booting and other important drivers. However, it seems that a triple-boot iPhone with iOS, Android, and Ubuntu Touch.
Raffaele recently shared a tweet saying that he successfully managed to quad-boot an iPad Mini 2 with iOS 11.3.1 as the primary operating system. Finally, if the detailed instructions presented by jailbreakers are considered a new kind of project that interested users can undertake during the quarantine that has come as a result of the pandemic , then it would be preferable for them to try this on a secondary iPhone device rather than their primary device.
