Technician bought 10 broken iPhone Xs and made them new!

iPhone X

An aspiring and highly skilled technician bought 10 broken iPhone Xs and managed to repair most of them perfectly.

The technician, who goes by the name Steve Porter, runs a YouTubeknown as Tronicsfix, where he posts videos of himself repairing various electronic devices. The most popular of these videosis one in which he buys 10 broken iPhone Xs at a very low price and tries to fix as many of them as he can.

On his channel, he has tackled many popular devices such as Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One , etc. In his most recent video, however, Steve dealt with Apple's favorite model for many, the iPhone X.

So he bought 10 broken iPhone Xs for $1,670, hoping to fix as many of them as possible.

In his video, Steve explains step by step the problems each device faces, which led to its breakdown.

The devices appear to have had a multitude of problems, with some of them operating with only superficial damage and others having suffered internal damage.

As Steve explained, the most difficult to repair were the ones with software locks. There were also some phones with damaged logic boards that Steve claimed could be repaired, but he's not an iPhone technician, so he wasn't able to do it.

Steve checked each device for all the possible problems it could be experiencing and used some parts that were working on one device to repair another that was less damaged. It's very possible that the reason he bought so many iPhones of the same model was that he wanted to take parts that were still working on some otherwise unrepairable devices and use them on others.

We won't reveal how many iPhone Xs he managed to repair so you can watch the video for yourself, without spoilers.

Apple and the “Right to Repair” movement

Apple hasn't always been a supporter of the "Right to Repair" movement, but recently the tech giant agreed to replace some defective smart cases for iPhones for free.

Of course, the company still has a long way to go when it comes to transparency regarding repairs of its devices.
