Is the Nokia X71 going to be released in the markets soon?

HMD Global has not yet released its latest smartphones – Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 1 Plus in many global markets. However, it appears that the company plans to release a new model soon.

The reason is an upcoming Nokia, which is supposedly called the Nokia X71, also known as the Nokia 8.1 Plus (in global markets).

Earlier this year, the Nokia 8.1 Plus's performance leaked online, suggesting that it could be the first smartphone from the company to feature a punch-hole display design. It was reported that this smartphone could launch in Taiwan on April 2. And now it has been spotted on China's 3C certification website by Nasville Chatter Class.

The listing of the Nokia X71 3C does not reveal many details about the smartphone, but it does reveal that it will carry the model number TA-1172 and will arrive with support for 18W fast charging. Specifically, this is not the first time we have encountered a Nokia smartphone that features a punch-hole design. Previously, there were rumors that the company could unveil the Nokia 6.2 at MWC 2019 alongside the Nokia 9 PureView. At that time, it was thought that it could be the first to arrive with such a design to house the camera.

Rumors about the Nokia X71

Based on existing reports, it is believed that this smartphone will feature a triple rear camera, which will include a main 48MP sensor and a secondary 120-degree wide-angle lens. There have also been speculations that the smartphone has a 6.2-inch screen with a punch-hole design. There is a possibility that it has a Snapdragon chipset, a USB Type-C port, and other basic features. Like the advanced Nokia mobile phones, it will also be an Android One smartphone. The remaining details have not yet been disclosed by the company.
