LG has proven that it doesn't need a lot of space to make a big impression. The company is set to unveil the second generation of its Cinebeam Laser 4K projector at CES 2019 in Las Vegas next month. According to LG, the device can project a massive 90-inch image onto any flat surface from just two inches away.

To achieve this, LG has adopted Ultra Short Throw (UST) technology. UST solves the problem of the distance between the projector and the projection surface, as well as the issue of the correct angle to fit the entire image on a wall or screen. It takes up less space and solves the shadowing problems that projectors present. LG Cinebeam at a distance of just 20 cm can create a bright, vivid 120-inch image in no time.
The latest generation of Cinebeam offers 4K resolution and 2,500 ANSI lumens. In simple terms, this is not the projector that the teacher uses in the classroom. This device can reproduce colors accurately thanks to its wide color gamut, as well as displaying shades of black. It is an ideal projector for any entertainment room, especially due to its compact size.
In addition to delivering a stunning image in a small space, the Cinebeam Laser 4K is even smarter with the addition of artificial intelligence technology. LG’s projector can handle voice commands, making it easy to control your projection without touching the remote. It can operate with commands like “play a yoga video on YouTube” or “turn off the projector after the movie is over.”
LG's Cinebeam Laser 4K projector will be on display at CES 2019, which is expected to begin on January 8. It's not known when it will be available to the market, but LG is expected to provide more information in January.
