Meet Intel's new 9th generation processors

Intel introduced its new 9th Gen Core i9 processors, Core X CPUs, and the 28-core, 56-thread Xeon W-3175X processor during its Desktop Fall on October 8.

The new generation of Intel Core processors is available for pre-order from October 8, while all three 9th generation Intel Core processors (i.e. i5-9600K, i7-9700K and i9-9900K) saw the light of day at yesterday's event.

Intel's 9th Gen processors come with up to 8 cores, CPU frequencies reaching up to 5.0 GHz in single-core turbo mode, and with 16 MB SmartCache for the top-of-the-line 9th Gen i9-9900K.

Additionally, Intel unveiled the new Intel Core X-Series processors (i.e. i7-9800X, i9-9820X, i9-9900X, i9-9920X, i9-9940X, i9-9960X and i9-9980XE) that offer high I/O and core capabilities.
