The Document Foundation recently announced the general availability of LibreOffice 6.1.1 open-source office suite for all supported platforms, including Linux, macOS , and Windows.
LibreOffice 6.1.1 adds more than 120 bug fixes.
“LibreOffice 6.1.1 is aimed at tech enthusiasts,” a spokesperson for The Document Foundation said. “For any enterprise-class deployment, TDF maintains the more mature LibreOffice 6.0.6, which should come from a company that provides a long-term supported release of the suite,” he continued.

While The Document Foundation still recommends the new LibreOffice 6.1 office suite to both power users and casual consumers, there's nothing stopping you from getting the latest version and installing it on your personal computer. LibreOffice 6.1.1 is now available for download for GNU/Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems directly from the software portal.
If you want to get the latest LibreOffice Online source code, you can do so via Docker images at https://hub.docker.com/r/libreoffice/online/
At the end of the month we will have the second version, LibreOffice 6.1.2, which will bring even more bug fixes to all elements of the office suite.
