iPhone SE 2 will feature a glass build and wireless charging

The new iPhone SE 2 is likely to make its debut in May or June. The new smartphone will bring some notable upgrades, including wireless charging.

Recent information reveals that mass production of the iPhone SE2 – which many are calling the “jaguar” – has already begun.

The new generation iPhone SE is expected to make the transition from the metal body of its predecessor to glass, which will allow for wireless charging.

This feature was first introduced with the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus as their glass body allows for wireless charging.

Although a glass construction makes the smartphone more elegant and beautiful, it also makes it more susceptible to physical damage, even though manufacturers try to make the material as durable as possible.

The iPhone SE 2 will likely feature a similar design to the previous generation, so it won't adopt the edge-to-edge display like the iPhone X. We're also not going to see Face ID or a headphone jack on the new smartphone.

Sure, there's still a lot to learn about the iPhone SE 2, but we'll have to wait until Apple. The only thing that's certain is that by releasing a second 4-inch model, the company is proving that it doesn't want to leave its consumers who prefer smartphones with smaller screens but just as good features as the top-of-the-line models complaining.
