The final specifications of the soon-to-be-released Huawei P20 series appear to have leaked ahead of tomorrow's official launch, showing us what to expect from the Android smartphones.
Tomorrow, March 27, 2018, the Chinese company Huawei will hold an event where it will announce the new Huawei P20 series, consisting of three rumored models, Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Lite and Huawei P20 Pro.
However, German website TabTech claims to have obtained the final and complete technical specifications of all three Android-powered smartphones, which they posted on Twitter over the weekend along with pricing details, at least in Europe.
According to the leak, the Huawei P20 model features a 2.36GHz Huawei Kirin 970 chip, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, a 5.8-inch display with a resolution of 2240×1080 pixels, a dual camera system with 20MP and 12MP cameras, and a 3400mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Huawei P20 Lite has a less powerful 2.36GHz Huawei Kirin 659 chip, only 64GB of internal storage, and a smaller 3000mAh battery. It also has 4GB of RAM and a 5.84-inch display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels, but a 16MP rear camera.
The Huawei P20 Pro model promises to be the most powerful smartphone the Chinese manufacturer has ever created, featuring a 2.36GHz Huawei Kirin 970 chip, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 6.1-inch display with a resolution of 2240×1080 pixels.
The device will also feature a long-lasting 4000mAh battery with Supercharge, as well as a powerful dual-camera system with 40MP and 20MP cameras. All three models will apparently come with the latest Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and EMUI 8.1, and will have dual SIM.
As for the price of the upcoming Huawei P20 series, the cheapest device among them is the Huawei P20 Lite priced at 369 euros. According to the leak, customers will have to pay 649 euros for the Huawei P20 model and 899 euros for the Huawei P20 Pro variant.
All will be revealed tomorrow, March 27, 2018, during the grand Huawei P20 launch event, which will be broadcast live from Paris, France, on YouTube or Facebook.
