Apple may release a cheaper MacBook Air this year

Do you love Apple products , but don't want to spend all your savings to buy some of them? Now there's a solution to your problem.MacBook

You can buy one of Apple's rumored cheaper MacBook Airs, which are reportedly set to be released later this year.

Predicting what's going on inside the minds of Apple's 1 Park Way office is certainly a tricky business, but KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is known to be pretty good at it. The analyst's latest note, according to 9to5Mac, suggests that the company is planning to release a "lower-priced" MacBook Air sometime in the second quarter of 2018.

Currently, a 13-inch MacBook Air sells for $999 or $1,199 – depending on its specs. And while simply expecting a lower price doesn't tell us much, it does show that Apple is finding ways to make its popular laptop more accessible to even more users: By making it cheaper. Which is a pretty smart move!

Kuo also has some more thoughts on what might be coming next from the company, specifically noting that there's a possibility that an updated AirPods could be released later this year.

He also mentions the HomePod. He says that demand for it is “moderate.” Perhaps if a cheaper version is released, it will boost demand somewhat.

So Apple, the embodiment of Silicon Valley innovation, may be changing the game again with the revolutionary idea of making its products more accessible to consumers. If Kuo is right, your wallet will thank you.
