Microsoft , confirming that the device will be released for business customers in December.
It should be noted that a small informational publication published recently revealed that the official launch of the model will take place in spring 2018, a rumor that may ultimately be true.
While business customers have the opportunity to purchase the Surface Pro with LTE Advanced in a month, consumers will be able to order it sometime in early 2018, with more details expected soon.
So what sets the new Surface Pro apart from the rest? Of course, LTE support. The device has a Cat 9 modem and support for 20 cellular bands. Microsoft claims that the Surface Pro with LTE Advanced is the fastest laptop of its kind.
Apart from that, the Surface Pro doesn't present any other differences, so it comes with a 12.3-inch PixelSense display with a resolution of 2736×1824 pixels, an Intel Core i7 processor depending on the version you choose, a graphics card that in the top configuration comes in the form of an Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640.
Pricing for the new model is not yet available, but all the necessary information will have leaked in the coming months given its imminent release.
It is estimated that the device should not be more expensive than the standard version of the Surface Pro, which at this point is available at $799 for the model with an Intel Core m3 processor, 128GB SSD storage and 4GB of RAM.
Finally, the Surface Pro with LTE Advanced will be available in the same markets as the standard model, including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
