The Document Foundation has announced the release of the new LibreOffice 5.3.1 office suite. LibreOffice 5.3.1 is the new stable version of the open-source and cross-platform office suite used on many Linux operating systems and beyond.
If you are wondering what new features LibreOffice 5.3.1 brings, according to the changelogs the new release fixes many issues reported by LibreOffice 5.2.x users but also adds some new features.
According to the developers, there are 100 improvements in 5.3.1 in most of the components of the office suite (Writer, Draw, Math, Calc, etc.).
