New details have been announced about Helldivers 2 's specifications and cross-play support ahead of the game's release for PS5 and PC next month on February 8th .
In an article on the PlayStation Blog, developer Arrowhead Game Studios confirmed that the game will support Cross-Play.
It also revealed the minimum/recommended performance features and system specifications for PC, which are visible below.
Announced during a PlayStation Showcase last May, Helldivers 2 was originally scheduled for release in 2023 before being postponed.
And a new trailer has been released for the third-person co-op shooter, which will be published by Sony.
It is a sequel to Helldivers, which was originally released in 2015 for PS3, PS4, and Vita.
Inspired by military science fiction like Starship Troopers, it also became Sony's first game to be released on PC that same year.
“Team up with up to three friends and wreak havoc on an alien invasion that threatens the safety of your home planet, Super Earth, in this co-op game,” states the game’s description on the PlayStation Store.
“Step into the shoes of the Helldivers, an elite class of soldiers whose mission is to spread peace, freedom, and Managed Democracy using the biggest, meanest, and most explosive tools in the galaxy.
"Helldivers don't go down to the planet without proper support, but it's up to you to decide how and when to call it in. Not only do you have a range of primary weapon superpowers and customizable loadouts, but you also have the ability to call in stratagems during the game."
