Asus unveiled several devices at CES 2017 earlier this month. Two of them are the ZenFone AR and the ZenFone 3 Zoom. But Asus is getting ready to unveil another device, the ZenFone 3s Max.
The feature that makes the ZenFone 3s Max stand out is definitely its massive 5,000mAh battery, even though it falls into the mid-range category due to its other features. However, a high battery capacity is one of the most important things on our list of choices when buying a new phone.
The ZenFone 3s Max features a 5.2-inch HD display with a built-in Bluelight filter and 2.5D 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 chipset clocked at 1.5GHz and features a Mali T860 GPU.
The smartphone has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, expandable up to 2TB using a microSD card. It weighs 175 grams and has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual LED flash with true tone, and 52MP super resolution.
On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera with an 85-degree field of view. The phone will run Android 7.0 Nougat with ZenUI 3.0 on top and will feature a fingerprint scanner on the front.
The ZenFone 3s Max is expected to be an upgrade to the ZenFone 3 Max that was announced last July. The battery capacity has been increased but the screen size and RAM have remained the same. Rumors suggest that the phone will be announced next week, on February 7 in India.
