Samsung , which are just a matter of time before they receive the latest version of Android OS. To our surprise, these aren't the only smartphones from the company that will receive the update.
According to a recent report, the Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A3 (2016) were recently spotted running Android 7.0 Nougat software, which suggests that they could receive the full update very soon, but certainly after the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge update.
The Galaxy A5 (2016) running on Nougat features a 5.2-inch display and is powered by an octa-core Exynos SoC processor clocked at 1.6GHz with 2GB of RAM and a Mali-T720 graphics processing unit.
The Galaxy A3 (2016) running on Nougat features 1.5GB of RAM, an Exynos processor clocked at 1.5Gz, a Mali-T720 graphics processing unit, and a 4.7-inch display.
Rumors claim that the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will receive the update by the end of January, so the Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A3 (2016) series will likely arrive in February or even earlier.
It is worth noting that images spotted on Geekbench showed the Galaxy A5 running Android 7.0 Nougat with a code number corresponding to the 2017 version. However, since its specifications belong to the 2016 version, only an official announcement from Samsung can solve the mystery. So all we can do is wait as the time of the reveal is very close.
