This is an incident of an internet presentation in high school classes that went terribly wrong.
Superstar and former 49ers player Jarryd Hayne turned red with embarrassment after images from an adult site suddenly appeared during his presentation on cybersecurity.
While speaking to a group of high school students about cybersecurity, it seems someone hacked into his presentation and started playing a Pornhub video in class. Hayne was giving a presentation on the dangers of using public WiFi for Norton Security when suddenly a series of Pornhub videos started playing in front of the stunned students at the school!
Hayne's phone was connected to a public wi-fi network, displaying his browsing history, as part of the lesson, when indecent images appeared on the screen in front of more than 200 students at Robina State School.
Hayne tried not to laugh at the images, including lewd acts and topless women, which remained on the screen for several seconds before the former player held up his phone to declare his innocence. The students burst into nervous laughter, while a teacher rushed to calm them down.
"It was awkward," Hayne admitted. "I immediately hung up my phone to disconnect."
Hayne said the images did not belong to him and that his presentation had been hacked. The Pornhub website appeared above Hayne's active browsing, which contained mostly sports images.
Paul Savvides of Norton Security confirmed that the images were not from Hayne's phone. Savvides said the images came from a smartphone , while Hayne had an iPhone. Reports suggest that an unknown hacker carried out a man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack during the presentation and was able to pass along the inappropriate images stored on his smartphone.
The irony of the whole thing is that Haynes was giving a presentation to show how hackers can use (MITM) attacks to take control of smartphones and laptops using public WiFi.
