Yesterday, Microsoft Flow, a platform that will compete directly with IFTTT -like services , was announced for everyone .

IF This Then That (IFTTT) has been around for quite some time on the internet and has helped automate many functions, from automatically tweeting, updating Facebook pages to dimming your lights at home and much more.
In Microsoft Flow, you can choose between many supported applications that already exist (Facebook, Twitter, Google Drive, OneDrive, Wundelist, Slack, etc.) and create the Workflow you want, while it is directly supported by iPhone and Android devices through the official Stores. However, there are also ready-made templates that will be very helpful in getting started.

The service is free for everyone, while there are also two paid plans per user, which provide additional features, useful for companies.
For regular users of the service, the ability to execute workflows with up to 750 executions per month is given, with a check every 15 minutes. That is, if a user has a blog and wants to make automatic updates to their Facebook page and Twitter account, they will have to write up to 375 articles per month!!.
Of course, for companies, the benefits are greater, because workflows can be defined that will automate updates from Salesforce, Dynamics 365, Power BI, Office 365, etc., while Microsoft has already included it as a license if you own one of the Office 365 or Dynamics 365 packages.

Automation is now also being embraced by Microsoft, which has recently shown that it has worked hard to further expand its portfolio. So it remains to be seen what else we can do with it.
