Skier Nicolas Vuignier posted a video on YouTube yesterday in which he recounts how he managed to create the flying camera mount he calls Centriphone , which can fly above your head in a circular motion around you.
For the record, Vuignier published the following 3-minute video a month ago, which in just two weeks garnered over 3.6 million views.
He returned to YouTube, this time sharing the video of the inspiration and construction.

As you will see, its construction resembles a plastic shuttle, which can safely hold an iPhone (because you don't want to lose it in the snow!!). From there, via two lines, you can spin it above your head, taking impressive images.
The Centriphone design is open source and can be downloaded from GitHub to print on a 3D printer.
Vuignier says he's experimenting with even more elaborate versions that allow you to mount heavier cameras like a GoPro.
