An incredible surprise from India. The Indian company Ringing Bells has released the Freedom 251 mobile phone. It is a device that “wears” Android Lollipop 5.1 and comes at the incredible price of 4 dollars.
This fact makes it the cheapest smartphone in the world.
The 3G device is dual-SIM and features a 4-inch display at 960×540 pixels. It has a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. You can add up to 32GB since it supports microSD cards.
There's also a 3.2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The battery is rated at 1,450mAh.
