Microsoft has just released Windows 10 app development courses for absolute beginners. All courses are available through the company's Channel 9.
These courses are designed specifically for programmers with very little programming experience, while they are also for absolute beginners, in the basic concepts of C# required according to Microsoft.
The company offers a free C# for Absolute Beginners course, especially for users who have no programming experience in C#.
The 80 lessons in the Windows 10 Development Learning Program will teach users the process of creating applications for the Universal Apps Platform for Windows 10 with the basics, such as XAML. During the course, you will be able to develop several new applications for Windows.
For those who don't know, Universal apps run on all devices that run or support Windows 10, such as computers, mobile phones, tablets, but also Microsoft's Xbox or HoloLens.
The courses are divided into two main parts. The first teaches the basic skills for creating Windows applications, while the second teaches the creation of four applications and the use of advanced concepts such as using APIs or submitting applications to the Windows Store.
Each course consists mainly of theory but also of exercises that will teach those interested the necessary problem-solving skills and will make them more familiar with the development environment and the concepts taught in the course.
The source code for all the courses in the program has been uploaded to Github.
Developers with prior experience can check out the Windows 10 Developer Guide, which has tutorials for more advanced users.
