Greek online media reports that a miner has been found alive after being buried for 17 years. The news is truly unbelievable, so much so that it resembles a hoax. 
The publication states (we left the spelling and syntax as is):
In the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred in 1997, the section where the unfortunate miner was located collapsed!
All 78 victims, coal mine workers, were buried with him!
The unfortunate miner managed to survive because an air duct was still in contact with the surface.
For food, he used the entire supply of rice and water that existed just in case of an accident, as well as eating mice and moss, which were the only source of vitamins for his 17 years of captivity.
Throughout his adventure, the Chinese miner, despite his physical exertion and enormous psychological stress, managed to properly bury all 78 dead members of the coal mine!!
Mr. Cheung, visibly weakened both physically and mentally, was taken to the hospital.
Managing to be nominated for a world record since the longest period of survival under such conditions was 142 days by Englishman Geoff Smith.
The publication impressed us as these 17 years sound incredible. After a few clicks on Google, we found the source of the news which was worldnewsdailyreport.com. The publication is actually old, dated May 6, 2014.
This particular page is known for the false stories (hoaxes) it spreads, and it doesn't hide it.
In its terms of service, the website states: “All news articles contained on worldnewsdailyreport.com are fiction, and possibly fake news. Any resemblance to the truth is purely coincidental…”
So be careful what you post on social media, if it seems unbelievable to you, it is very likely to be a hoax.
