New firmware for the Sony Xperia Z3+. The overheating problems of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset are already known and manufacturers of mobile phones using this processor have been forced to release software updates to improve them.
The HTC One M9 was one of the first devices to experience the issue, but the manufacturer released a software update before the smartphone hit the market.
Since its launch in Japan and other countries, both the Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z3+ have been reported to have the same issue. Sony has confirmed the issue and said it will release a software update sometime this summer.
The company doesn't seem to have kept its promise and has just come out with a new software update for Sony Xperia Z3+.
The new firmware 28.0.A.7.24 was recently certified by the PTCRB, as reported by XperiaBlog.
It's also worth noting that the update is also available for the Sony Xperia Tablet Z4.
