With an electronic ink (E-ink) screen and the dimensions of an A4 sheet of paper, the Digital Paper is what its name suggests: a digital "paper" tablet from Sony, which allows its owner to take notes on its screen, just as they would on paper.

Designed for professional use, the "economical" tablet with Wi-Fi technology has particularly low energy consumption, which extends its battery "life" for approximately three weeks until the next charge.
The new Mobius-style touchscreen (1,200×1,600 dot matrix resolution) manages to incorporate e-ink technology into durable plastic. This allows the device to maintain its slim silhouette and featherweight.
According to an announcement from the company, the ultra-thin tablet is expected to be released on the market in May.
