The new Samsung Galaxy Note is fully armed with hardware and software

Galaxy-Note-10-1-2014-EditionLiterally armed in hardware and software, the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition from Samsung, the Korean company's top tablet currently on sale in Greece, comes. The 10.1-inch device offers a very wide variety of functions, since for example it is the only Android model that not only comes with a pen, but also supports graphic character recognition in Greek, to convert handwriting into typed texts. Therefore, it enables its owner to use it as a "multi-tool", for any task that a tablet can accomplish.

The list of state-of-the-art components found in the new Galaxy Note starts with its high-resolution display (2,560 x 1,600 pixels), which renders even the tiniest details of graphics or images with exceptional clarity. It continues with the tablet's octa-core processor, which is actually a combination of two quad-core CPUs, with a clock frequency of 1.9 and 1.3 GHz respectively.

This particular option helps the device to have a highly satisfactory autonomy, as, in combination with the 8220 mAh battery, with a single charge it can play videos for up to 10 hours and music for at least 5 days. At the same time, it boosts the speed of the tablet, which responds lightning fast even to the most demanding video games. The same happens when someone uses the Multi Window function to display two applications on the screen at the same time, even if e.g. in one “window” they have selected the playback of a movie.

Belonging to the Note series, the tablet could not also not be accompanied by a stylus, which this time is "smarter" and much easier to use. Thus, with the stylus one can write short sentences, an address or a phone number, while the graphic character recognition technology will take over to "translate" them into text or a new entry in the phone book. Also, access to the most basic functions is very easy, since they are located in S Command, a circular menu that is displayed on the screen by pressing a small button on the stylus.

Naturally, the Note does not lack a micro SD card slot, two cameras (with the main camera on its "back" being quite good for a tablet), GPS, MHL support, as well as all the technologies for wireless connection with other devices (DLNA, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct). Even featuring an infrared transmitter to act as a remote control, the tablet is available in a Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi & 4G version, costing in Greece between 540 and 630 euros.
