Software company VideoLAN has just released the final version 2.1.0 of its VLC media player for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
The new final version 2.1.0 of VLC 2.1.0 brings several improvements, new features and fixes. It should be mentioned that the application is distributed for free and is open source.

In fact, VLC 2.1.0 comes with a completely new audio core, with support for higher sample rates, better volume management, better device selection, new output capabilities, and new channel layouts.
We can also mention partial support for Qt5.0, support for UPnP A/V subtitles, support for multiple UPnP resources in a single component, improved support for MCE remote controls on Windows, extended MKV and AVI recording support, new filters for video and audio, support for multiple Blu-Ray video formats, high10, high422 and high444, and also h264 encoding support.
