Facebook comes to protecting personal data, according to a new survey.
Of course, the really surprising fact, however, is that Facebook ranks higher than the NSA in the research results, despite everything that has been published over the last three months.
The poll was conducted by Reason-Rupe (PDF) and reveals that 61% of respondents do not trust Facebook with their personal information.
In the survey, 1,013 people participated and the social network was found to be the least reliable platform. Google came second with 48% who say they do not trust the company at all. The IRS came in third place, while the various ISPs came in fourth.
The NSA, the intelligence agency that spies on countless innocent citizens, surprisingly holds the fifth position.
