Are you tired of entering your passwords and usernames into your Android devices every time you want to check your emails? To replace this inconvenient and tedious process, Google is announcing a new layer of security, the Trust API.
During the I/O developer conference last week, Google shared with the public its plans for 'Trust Score' , which uses a variety of user patterns — such as typing a pattern, speech patterns and sounds, location, or facial recognition — to ensure user trustworthiness.
This will ensure that unauthorized third parties cannot access your accounts, even if they know your password. The tech giant plans to soon introduce the use of various biometric data, which will be used to rate your trustworthiness, “Trust Score” , and become a more secure two-factor verification method.

A combination of PINs and biometrics is already used in the corporate environment. The Google Trust API plans to make its systems more secure.
The motivation was the further development of Project Abacus announced at last year's Google I/O.
Google plans to run Project Abacus in the background on your devices and collect data about you to calculate your Trust Score. When you try to sign in to any of Google's services, if your Trust Score is not high enough, you will be asked for additional information and passwords.
The first wave of trials is expected to take place in banking systems and will then be available to Android developers by the end of the year.
