«Who Stalks My Cam» – Learn who can spy on you

Do you feel like you're being watched? Do you feel like you're being spied on through your computer's webcam? Who Stalks My Cam is here to effectively protect you and guarantee your safety.

Who Stalks My Cam

Who Stalks My Cam is a free program for the Windowsthat can detect any camera usage and notify you about it.

All modern laptops and smartphones have built-in microphones and cameras to facilitate user communications. However, the risks they pose are many, as there is a high possibility that an attacker could break into your system and turn your webcam or microphone into a means of surveillance.

Hackers can easily break into your computer, take control of your system, and attempt to take your personal photos or videos through your computer's camera.

To adequately protect themselves, many users cover their camera lens with adhesive tape (if they don't use it often), or disable its function from the settings, if possible.

We present you another solution designed for this very purpose.

“ Who Stalks My Cam” is a handy little program designed to monitor camera usage on Windows computers. The program records camera usage, notifies users when it is turned on, and provides multiple options for automatically turning it off under certain conditions.

“Who Stalks My Cam” is offered in portable and stable versions, displays information about current and past webcam events, and provides detailed information, such as video recording start date and time, end date/time, duration, etc

The program provides users with several additional features and useful functions, including:

1) Automatically disable the camera when a) the process using the camera is running in the background, b) when the computer is idle for a predefined period of time, or c) when the camera operation process is not in the list of allowed processes.

2) Play an audio alert, accompanied by the display of a corresponding message when the camera is activated.

The use of allowed processes (whitelist) is a particularly useful feature, as it allows only specific programs to use the camera, effectively preventing its use by untrusted applications.

So if you also use your camera regularly and want to make sure it only turns on when you use it, it's worth trying Who Stalks My Cam and letting us know your impressions 😉
