The event entitled "Web Privacy & Data Protection: High-Risk" of the Hellenic Alumni Association of the London School of Economics was held with great success at the King George Hotel in Athens.
An internationally renowned academic and three recognized professionals in the field with many years of experience and international careers spoke about data protection, new technological innovations and internet security and answered questions from the audience at the end of the event "Web Privacy & Data Protection: High-Risk Digital Pathways".
The multi-awarded Manos Sfakianakis, Major General of the Hellenic Police and Head of the Cybercrime Prosecution, Professor Ian Angell, Emeritus Professor of Information Systems, London School of Economics, Panos Dimitriou Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer, Encode Information Risk Management and Kostas Loukas General Manager, Microsoft Romania.
The presenter of the event “Web Privacy & Data Protection: High-Risk Digital Pathways” was Thodoris Anagnostopoulos, Science Communicator, President and Co-founder of the Non-Profit Organization “SciCo” and presenter of the TEDxAthens event for four consecutive years. A short greeting was delivered by the President of the Greek Alumni Association of LSE, Maria Xytaki.
