Technology company Apple Inc has set a goal to start producing electric vehicles from 2020, Bloomberg news agency reported in an article, citing sources familiar with the matter.
This plan could pose a major challenge for the mobile phone manufacturer, which seemingly has little experience and knowledge in automobile manufacturing.
Apple 's "car team" consists of about 200 people, who are working feverishly to achieve this bold goal, Bloomberg reports. However, according to sources, the company could abandon the car effort or postpone it if its executives are not satisfied with the progress of the project.
