Researcher @key2fr published in detail how he managed to hack the Lightning connector on the website Ramtin-Amin.fr.
HackADay reports that the "first step" towards "complete iDevice ownership" has been taken.
"This is the key to the castle, and being able to bypass this chip means we can now own our iDevices."
