The holiday season is expected to be very good for Apple, due to the high demand for the new iPhone 6. According to AppleInsider, it appears that in the last quarter of this year, the devices sold will reach 71.5 million, marking a 40% increase compared to last year.
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, one reason is the new device's large 4.7-inch screen, which will put the iPhone 6 at the top of sales. This is also the main reason for the decline in sales of previous models, since the iPhone had stayed with the 4-inch screen when the competition had advanced enough.
In this way, Apple wants to knock its biggest competitor, Samsung, which was considered by many to be the leading mobile phone company in the world, from the top of sales.

Sales also rise for the iPhone 5C and 4S
Regarding the 5.5-inch screen of the Plus version, sales are not so high due to the great shortage in the market and the problems in the production of the model. Sales will depend on how much stock the stores can have. Of course, after the holiday season a big drop is expected, as it always does. However, what Apple is to increase sales of the 5C and 4S models during the first quarter of the new year, due to the reduced price they will have.
