A new update to Google Play Services has made its appearance on many Android devices, bringing new features to the Google Maps, Drive, Wallet, and Fit apps.
The changes brought by the new Google Play Services 6.5 mainly concern Android developers who want to connect the above applications with their own services/applications, using the appropriate API.
Most of the changes appear in Google Maps, with the ability to navigate to a specific point on the map, while a lite version will also be available to allow for faster response when there are many points of interest on a map.
Google Drive will now offer greater integration with 3rd-party applications for developers, while Google Wallet, which is not available in Greece, will have additional features.
Finally, the update may have appeared on several Android devices, the appropriate SDK will be available to developers in a week.
