Instapaper, the app for saving articles for later reading, is now free

Instapaper is a service that allows you to save and read later on your iOS or Android device, an article you found on the Internet, but didn't have time to read at the time.

The company behind Instapaper and the well-known Bitly and Digg, Betaworks, seeing the competition, mainly from Pocket, decided to now make the application free.

Instapaper, in addition to giving the user the ability to save and "read later" articles, also allows them to read a long article in a simplified format, "cleaned" of strange fonts, colors, and annoying banners.

With Instapaper, the user doesn't need to "fill" their bookmarks and then "clear" them, but can directly save whatever they find interesting.

At the same time, one of the most important functions of the application is offline reading of saved pages, a feature particularly useful on a flight or in areas with a weak signal.

Finally, Instapaper is also available as an extension through Google Chrome.

Google has launched a similar effort with the Stars service, while Facebook has also implemented a similar feature called Save.

Alternatively, you can use the Joliprint service in our useful article that you can see here: Browse and print the Web!
