Microsoft OneDrive has been upgraded and now supports uploads up to 10GB.
In a related announcement, the company states: “We recognize that users now have the need to store more and larger files. It was the most basic request from our customers and we are very happy that it is becoming a reality.” The new feature has already been implemented in many countries and will soon be available to all accounts.

But what do other file sharing services offer?
Until now, OneDrive supported uploads up to 2GB. This limit was increased to 10GB after the service was upgraded. The well-known cloud-based service, Dropbox, offers exactly the same feature to its users. However, Google Drive allows companies to upload up to 5TB!
Other improvements to OneDrive
In addition to increasing the Upload limit, Microsoft announced other important changes: OneDrive is getting faster! Microsoft technicians have improved the synchronization speed and promise a visible difference in the coming days. Finally, OneDrive, in addition to Uploading files, will also support Uploading folders. Users will be able to upload all their files in the form of a folder and not one by one – as they did until now.
