The mayor of Marathon, Elias Psinakis, after almost three hours of testimony to the head of the Electronic Crime Investigation Department, Mr. Manolis Sfakianakis, regarding the case of the removal of all computer hard drives from the financial services department of the municipality of Marathon.
Mr. Psinakis did not want to make any statement, as the case of deleting data from the municipality's financial services computers (one day before he was sworn in) is at the preliminary investigation stage.
According to information from protothema.gr, the new mayor of Marathon is completely satisfied as the case was personally taken over by Brigadier General Sfakianakis, head of the Cybercrime Investigation Department, which is considered one of the best similar services internationally.
