It is now taken for granted that Apple is looking for new ways to provide security for iPhone data.
So how would you like the idea that if your favorite device is stolen, it can send notifications to another device or automatically lock itself as soon as it “detects” strange behavior?
A new Apple patent published by the patent office in America, titled “Creating notifications based on user behavior,” presents such a scenario.
Specifically, the patent in question presents a method based on which the iPhone will automatically lock itself or activate a notification system as soon as it detects strange user behavior.
The iPhone will store the user’s movements/behaviors from their daily lives and actions and will be able to compare them with previous similar recordings. Such movements/behaviors, according to the patent, could be gestures, data from the motion sensor and even settings in the grammar and keyboard dictionary. The iPhone will therefore be able to have a profile of its user in a short time.
If for some reason an anomaly is detected, the device will automatically lock itself and ask for the user's Apple ID or Passcode. It will then even have the option to notify another device about this strange behavior.
